Initial Consultation: We discuss your pet's condition via phone consultation or an in home examination, assess their quality of life, and help you make an informed decision.
Peaceful In-Home Euthanasia: Dr. O’Brien will come to your home in Leon or Wakulla county, offering a gentle and compassionate procedure. Your pet will be surrounded by loved ones in a familiar setting, reducing stress and anxiety. Your pet will receive and injectable medication to help with any pain or fear they are experiencing before peacefully transitioning. We take care to ensure that this procedure is as peaceful and painless for your pet as possible.
Aftercare Services: We offer various aftercare options, including cremation through Furever Friends Crematory, and provide guidance on memorializing your pet. We offer ink paw prints and fur clippings at no charge for every pet.

No matter which option you choose, your pet is always treated with dignity and compassion. We are also happy to provide ink paw prints and fur clippings as memorials if you would like.

When the need arises outside of regular hours, Dr. O’Brien is sometimes able to accommodate evening visits. These appointments carry an additional fee of $150 to allow for schedule changes and to ensure you and your pet receive care when you need it most. Please text us at 850-888-4229 to schedule.
